Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actor who is best known for portraying detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue, for which she was awarded an Emmy Award. Her roles are All My Children Philly CSI: Miami & Army Wives. Born as the only daughter to a senior executive of the United Auto Workers and a housewife, Delaney had a family of four brothers.
