Anushka debuted as a model for 2017 in Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show during Lakme Fashion Week. He picked her as his last model from the collection for Spring/Summer 2007. Anushka Sharma was the lead in the film "Badmash Co that came out in the year 2010. It was also a star-studded film with Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das. The film received mixed critiques. Anushka played a role in a film known as Band Baaja Baraat starring Ranveer who played the role of a middle class, who establishes her wedding planning company. The film was an unexpected success and was praised by the critics. The contract of Anushka's for three movies under Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
